Meet Payton!

Confident in her own skin, Payton has never been afraid to stand out and reflect her own unique style. Even as a young child, Payton didn’t hit the town without a cross-body purse, an arm full of bracelets or electric-colored nail polish. While she has always been a fashionista with dreams of opening her own boutique, it was during an elective metal-making class at college in Illinois where she made her first piece of jewelry and her entrepreneurial spirit was ignited.

 

Motivated to turn her vision into a reality, Payton worked hard to learn everything about starting a business, from entity documents and merchant accounts to deciding on the perfect logo and marketing strategies. Within a few months, she launched PB&J Collection and began selling her jewelry at events, sororities and local pop-up shops. Through her jewelry sales, she built her client base and created a foundation that allowed her to expand the collection by adding clothing.

 

Payton loves everything about clothing trends and is driven to create unique looks that inspire people. “Everyone feels good in a great outfit. We stand taller, smile bigger and feel more powerful.”

 

When she isn’t working on her jewelry or finding pieces to add to her clothing collection, Payton loves attending music festivals all over the country. You can be sure that her outfit will be vibrant and edgy, attesting to her creative style… and of course the theme of the day.
